Since the late 1970s, Wolfgang Laib has shaped radically reduced, quiet art of great presence from pollen, wax, milk, rice, and stone. His artistic practice now encounters masterpieces from the collection.

Artists open up new perspectives on the collection. Yto Barrada combines her own works with pieces from her birth year, 1971 – a dialogue on memory, time, and resistance.

As part of ReCollect!, Wu Tsang and Enrique Fuenteblanca create an intervention with collection works and a new sound installation. La montaña invertida transforms the domed hall into a space for listening and rethinking.

From 1 September 2025: Kunsthaus Goes Cashless

In line with sustainability, user-friendliness, efficiency, and security, the Kunsthaus Zürich will go cashless as of 1 September 2025. At the ticket counters and in the shops, at the Kunsthaus Bar in the Chipperfield building and the cafeteria in the old building you can pay quickly, conveniently, and securely using all common debit and credit cards, or TWINT. Cash payments will still be accepted in the restaurant ‘Bei Moudi am Kunsthaus’.
